Turning Point
Turning Point offers a broad range of services for adults and children affected by domestic violence. Services are available for victims and offenders of domestic violence and are provided during regular business hours, evening hours and weekends.

To obtain our services, call Turning Point for information. Individuals receiving our services are often referred by the Courts, and Department of Family Services. Self-referrals are accepted.
Description of the Services Offered
Victim Services
Turning Point offers a full range of services to all victims of domestic violence. These services include support groups and individual counseling for female victims, with free childcare available. Individual, group, and family therapy for children and adolescents is also provided. Additionally, our services include education, therapy, and visitation services prior to and following the reunification of a family. Group sessions for children of divorcing/separating parents, as well as divorcing and separating parent education for adults who have petitioned the court for custody or divorce are also provided.
Offender Services
Turning Point offers intervention services for perpetrators of domestic violence. These services include a domestic violence orientation, an in-depth evaluation, including risk assessment, and intervention. Batterer intervention groups with a 26-week requirement are provided for adult male offenders. We also provide domestic violence intervention groups for adult female offenders. Individual counseling is offered to both men and women in cases in which an individual has unique needs that cannot be met in group intervention.
Turning Point also offers a six-week Anger Management group for men and women that direct their offenses toward people that are NOT intimate partners. Prior to participation in anger management, individuals receive an in-depth assessment.
Eligibility and Other Important Information Specific to the Program
All individuals affected by domestic violence, including adult and child victims, are eligible for domestic violence services. All family members involved in divorce/separation are also eligible for services.
All adults perpetrating domestic violence are eligible for domestic violence services. All adults that have engaged in disruptive and/or aggressive behavior that is not directed toward an intimate partner are eligible for anger management services.

Victim Services
All services for intimate partner victims of domestic violence are free.
Offender Services
Fees vary by service and are on a sliding fee scale. Upon completion of group intervention, individuals may continue to attend at no charge.
