Positive Alternative to Substance Abuse
PASA provides an after-school and summer camp for children grades 2-5 in the Milford School District. The program focuses on substance abuse prevention skills, homework assistance, and recreational activities.
Description of the Services Offered
The PASA Program provides a safe and engaging environment that motivates and inspires learning outside of the regular school day. The program combines academic enrichment, prevention, cultural, and recreational activities to guide learning and engage youth in holistic activities.
The activities incorporated into the PASA Program include mind enrichment which reinforces basic reading, math, science and social studies skills; drug and violence prevention; life skills; homework assistance; youth leadership activities; volunteer and community service opportunities; and supervised recreation.
