Non-Secure Detention

Non-Secure Detention is a structured residential and education program for young people ages 8 to 19 who have been arrested and are awaiting a court date. Trained staff accompany youth to court and make recommendations about needed services.

Description of the Service Offered

Residential program providing supervision of male and female youth ages 8 to 19 who have been arrested and are ordered by Family Courts or Justice of the Peace Courts or referred by the Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services. Program also provides Administrative Holds including Disciplinary Actions, Aftercare Revocations, Violations of Probation and temporary supervision of youth awaiting custody of the Division of Family Services.
