Group Homes for Adolescents
Two group homes located in Milford and one in Townsend provide a home-like environment for teens in the foster care system ages 13-17. The focus of foster group care is to provide a structured home for abused and neglected youth. These youth will, more than likely, remain with us until they are 18 unless reunification or adoption with family is an option.
Staff is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to monitor the youth. The youth attend a school in the local district.
Program Referrals
Youth are referred directly through the Division of Family Services.
Description of the Services Offered
The program provides a home-like environment with emphasize on independent living skills and appropriate social skills to prepare the youth to live independently. The teens attend school and participate in normal teenage activities.

Typically, these are youth who have been in the foster care system for a long period of time.
